COA Octavos Series

Broadway vs. the World

New York City
April 9-11, 2021

In answer to numerous requests, we are proud to announce the COA Octavos Series. COA’s concert residency opportunity, Broadway vs. the World, offers choral programs an in-depth performance experience based around universally loved themes. In spring, 2021, we will explore both the world of musical theatre and world music. Your choir will work in residency with Jeffrey Benson (Broadway) and Francisco Núñez (World), each charged with delving into one aspect of the concert theme.

COA’s Octavos Concert event includes 3 extensive, collaborative massed choir rehearsals with COA’s Principal Conductors and an incredible concert performance in NYC’s world-famous Lincoln Center (David Geffen Hall)! Plus, you’ll have plenty of time for sightseeing and attending a Broadway musical.
