Friday, April 17, 2020

The COA National’s Master Conductor, André Thomas, takes over today for fun and educational massed choir rehearsals.

Following rehearsals, all participating choirs will perform during an awe inspiring prism concert in world-famous Stern Auditorium in Carnegie Hall. During the concert, choral programs bringing 45 or more singers will have the opportunity for a “spotlight performance” on their own… and ALL participants will perform as one of three massed choirs. The concert wraps with an amazing all-choir world premiere finale written by Brandon Boyd especially for this event. It will be spectacular, once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Saturday, April 18, 2020

Each participating Choral Program will have the option of designating “subsidiary ensembles” for adjudicated performances of their prepared music during the final day of the COA Nationals. Following each performance, COA Nationals adjudicators will give detailed, on-stage performance reviews.

This evening, you will definitely want to join other choirs from across the country for a memorable DJ dinner dance cruise celebration on the Hudson River (optional add on)… and amazing way to cap off an amazing trip!
