2021 COA Nationals for Top Choirs

Choirs of America
2021 COA Nationals for Top Choirs

The COA Nationals for Top Choirs has become the top destination for choral programs looking for the highest magnitude choral festival experience available today. Since the first COA Nationals in New York City and Carnegie Hall (featuring Anton Armstrong as Principal Conductor) in 2013, the program has grown quickly. In 2021, COA will produce three COA Nationals programs.

Our mission is “to engage, inspire, and educate choirs” from across the country (and, often, from other parts of the world) by bringing them in contact with the finest conductors, composers, and educators in the industry. Each event is grounded in the belief that collaboration is far better than competition. Each program emphasizes high level educational adjudications, full one-hour clinics, and amazing performance opportunities hand-in-hand with collaborative interaction with other choirs and teaching artists.

Moreover, you and your Choir will have the opportunity to study with one of America’s finest choral conductors (Z. Randall Stroope, Jeffery Redding, or Rollo Dilworth in 2021), perform world-premieres with well-known composers (Z. Randall Stroope, Rosephanye Powell, or Rollo Dilworth in 2021), and engage in clinics and workshops with our incredible teaching faculty is (all bias aside) an incredibly powerful experience. It is our strong belief that the ability to learn collaboratively with other choirs (that represent every corner of our country) broadens horizons and expands perspectives.

“After 7 trips to Carnegie Hall, I can say I enjoyed yours the most. The right price, minimal rehearsal, added festival, top adjudicators and clinicians, fantastic support, and a great philosophy. Bingo!”
