2019 COA Nationals for Top Choirs

Choirs of America
2019 COA Nationals for Top Choirs

The COA Nationals for Top Choirs has become the top destination for choral programs looking for the highest magnitude choral festival experience available today. Since the first COA Nationals in New York City and Carnegie Hall (featuring Anton Armstrong as Master Conductor) in 2013, the program has grown quickly. In 2019, COA will produce three COA Nationals programs.

The experience is a revolutionary departure from others you may have experienced in the past. Our mission is “to engage, inspire, and educate choirs” from across the country (and, often, from other parts of the world) by bringing them in contact with the finest conductors, composers, and educators in the industry. Each event is grounded in the belief that collaboration is far better than competition. Thus, we emphasize designing high level educational adjudications, full one-hour clinics, and amazing performance opportunities hand-in-hand with collaborative interaction with other choirs and teaching artists. Having the ability to study with one of America’s finest collegiate conductors (Sandra Snow, Eugene Rogers, or Z. Randall Stroope in 2019), perform world-premieres with well-known composers (Jake Runestad, Stacey V. Gibbs, or Z. Randall Stroope in 2019), and engage in clinics and workshops with our incredible teaching faculty is (all bias aside) an incredibly powerful experience. Moreover, the ability to learn collaboratively with other choirs (that represent every corner of our country) broadens horizons and expands perspectives.
